UMBI is inviting Malaysian citizen as potential candidates for the position of Research Fellow, DS51 to fill the vacancy at UMBI.The post is a permanent post at the DS51 grade.

1. RESEARCH FELLOW GRADE DS51 (2 Posts)

Qualifications:
- The candidate should have a PhD degree either in the field of genetics, molecular biology, proteomics, medical nanotechnology, medical biotechnology, bioinformatics, or other fields related to molecular medicine.
- The candidate should also have at least 2 years working experience (after PhD) and at least 2 indexed journal publications.
- If there is no work experience, the candidate will be appointed on the DS45 grade for a probation period of one year before consideration for an upgrading.
- The candidate shall have a solid fundamental scientific knowledge, creative, innovative, a pleasant personality, able to work in a team, good communication skills, hardworking, very committed and interested in research and publications.

KOLEJ TUANKU JA'AFAR is a British-style co-educational boarding school whose international stream caters for pupils who wish to take Cambridge and Edexcel 'O', IGCSE and 'A' Levels. The Kolej admits boys and girls from the ages of 11 to 18 and is unique in Malaysia in that it is a co-educational boarding school with local and international academic streams running parallel. 1. HEAD OF LEARNING SUPPORT

Jobs Requiremnets:
- Experienced in teaching students with specific learning difficulties.
- Possess relevant EFL/TESOL qualifications.
- Experienced in teaching English to non-native English speakers.

2. HISTORY TEACHER & HOUSEMASTER

Jobs Requiremnets:
- degree holders with at least 5 years experience teaching up to 'O' level
- experienced in running a boarding house
- a willingness to commit to a '24 hours per day' job
- an understanding of multi-racial youth groups

3. EFL TEACHERS (2 positions)

Jobs Requiremnets:
- posses relevant EFL/TESOL qualifications
- experienced in teaching english to non-native english speakers
- a willingness to contribute towards pastoral care and activities.
